Irene Berner is the Founder of Berner Financial Services. She has worked in the financial industry since 1986, formed her company in 1996, and has been affiliated with LPL Financial since 2000. She is thrilled to be working with the Ivy Wealth Management team.
Irene is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST. She holds securities licenses for the Series 7, 24, 63, and 65, which are held through LPL Financial, and is registered as a licensed Insurance Agent.
Irene holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from SUNY New Paltz. She serves on the Business Advisory Council at SUNY New Paltz School of Business and was the 2017 recipient for Alumna of the Year in the School of Business Hall of Fame. She is a long-time member of the New Paltz Rotary club, Past President of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail Association, and served on the Elting Memorial Library Board of Directors.
One of Irene's passions is running. She has run 3 marathons and many half marathons. Her last race was the New York City Marathon in 2023. One of her favorite adventures was hiking in the Grand Canyon while raising much needed funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in May 2012.
She is the proud mother of two incredible daughters and doting grandmother of three delightful grandkids
